The school council at Cranbrook consists of two representatives from each class from years 1 - 6. These school council members are voted in by their peers each October. The school council also has a Chair and two vice Chairs whose job it is to set the agenda for our meetings and to ensure that the meetings run smoothly with minutes of the meeting recorded.

The main role of the school council is to ensure that we are all working together to improve our school for everyone, with everyone. As school councillors we do this by collecting ideas from everyone and making sure that each child has a voice in the school.

Our school council meet weekly to discuss areas for development within the school. We also deliver assemblies, meet with important visitors and share our ideas with class teachers, parents and our Headteacher.
