At Cranbrook Primary School, we are committed to ensuring all our children make the best possible progress. We track the achievement of every child on a regular basis and do all we can to make sure each child achieves their potential.

The Pupil Premium is an additional amount of money given to schools to target support for the most vulnerable, especially those whose self-esteem may be low and whose progress is slow. Every school receives a fixed amount of money for all pupils meeting certain criteria. The main criterion is eligibility for free school meals. The money is provided to schools so that we can raise attainment and progress for this group of pupils

The links below are letters from Rt Hon David Laws MP, Minister of State for Schools in the Department for Education and Councillor Elaine Norman Cabinet Member for Children & Young People. They commended our work with disadvantaged pupils and the effectiveness of our provision.
